How long is breast augmentation recovery?

Dr. Tamburrino performs breast augmentation as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia, and you'll be able to return home the same day. Recovery generally takes about 1 to 2 weeks, with most patients returning to normal activities within that time. Strenuous exercise, however, should be delayed for approximately 6 – 8 weeks. Dr. Tamburrino and his team will provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth and comfortable recovery.
